Gather your friends and spend the evening crafting, sipping, and ghost hunting! You will learn to make 2 Chunky knit Plushies. You can choose from the Ghost, Pumpkin, Christmas Tree or Snowman designs! I will message you as you sign up to find out what you want to make, so I have plenty of the right colored yarn on hand. Be sure to put your cell number as the preferred receipt method as you’re purchasing your tickets. I am so excited to get to teach again at The Irish Legend, which is a known haunted bar, located along Archer Ave adjacent to what was once the Willowbrook Ballroom! Resurrection Mary roams Archer Ave looking to hitch a ride home to the cemetery or perhaps a stop at The Irish Legend. We will be taking a tour of the attic which is a hotspot in the Bar and we will learn about the active hauntings that you just might get to experience. This class has a truly unique opportunity to not only learn to create a chunky knit plushy but you can sign up for a half hour Grief Connection, Loss & Love Consultation with the most talented medium in the Midwest Cindy Rice! The talented Ryan Rutkowski will also be there doing Tarot Readings! There is only room for 5 appointments with either Cindy or Ryan, each person will be assigned a half hour time slot from 4:30-7:30pm. You don’t have to get a reading, you can join the class just to craft and vice versa.
Artist/Owner of Happy Daisy Art Studio, Jillianne Renee, will teach the craft step by step from 6-8pm. No experience needed! The Ghost tour/investigation will be at 8pm.
Tickets for the Chunky Knit class & Ghost Tour are $65- per person and must be reserved to save your seat! One $7- drink is included with your ticket! Tickets for Cindy/Ryan are $40- and must be purchased to save your spot. They will go fast!

A historic roadhouse built in 1915 located at 8933 S. Archer Road, The Irish Legend is a well-known bar and restaurant with ties to Al Capone and the Prohibition Era. Everyone has heard the stories, the folklore and the rumors that have developed over the last 100+ years, and yes: Most of them are true!

The Irish Legend
Many believe there are restless spirits that reside throughout the building. Many unspeakable acts of debauchery have happened on-premise including gun fights, beat downs, illegal gambling, funerals, prostitution and even abortions. The land is said to be haunted as well dating back to the late 1800's by local Native American tribes. A lot of hostile and morose energy can be detected within the building.
